Hi guys, I've read several times on here that some people like to put powdered oats in their Post Workout Shakes. If I'm currently reducing my carbs to try and burn a little fat, am I right in assuming that using oats like this would be an extremely bad idea?

It wouldn't be an extremely bad idea at all, ground up dried dog poo would...... i don't personally have oats pwo because i don't eat (many) grains, even tho i'm on a low carb diet i have fruit post workout, i have papaya or pineapple combined with lean protein so the fruit enzymes break down the protein and provide some carbohydrate after the workout (i believe that a little bit is good, going mad with huge amounts of carbs, especially higher GI ones is stupid)

A scoop or two of powdered oats in your shake will be fine mate

A lot of minerals in ground dried dog poo, especially the white stuff. Yum.

Have you noticed that you never see White Dog Poo any more?

With the powdered Oats, I normally get back from the gym between 8-9 and have to fit in a meal too. Something like Chicken and Veg so I wasn't sure whether I needed the Oats too.
