Cheers, dude. I've taken mince containing beef, lamb and mixed offal including heart and liver and eaten it partially cooked as a burger before when I was really hungry. I thought it would be cooked, but found it was fridge temperature in the middle and by that point I'd lost patience for cooking. Didn't do me any harm, either!

As you know from the advise for high fatters thread, I get the butcher to stick a load of offal in my mince, so I eat this sort of stuff all the time. For that reason, I'm assuming there'd be no particular advantage to my eating loads of raw liver in addition to that, but I'm thinking the most hardcore shake in the world idea you came up with would cure you pretty damn quick if you got a cold or anything. Or make you more ill!

why is this a problem anyway?

you hear it all the time on most frozen foods "do not refreeze once defrosted"

    why is this?

When you eat the foods your body is made for (Paleo foods) in a framework that your body is made for (feast-fast, such as IF), it all works beautifully.

Potential for product quality breakdown (i.e texture) and potential bacterial build up. (it's been out twice effectively)

I think it's prob more a precautionary thing rather than a strong reason tho.

When drinking raw liver you really do have to make sure it's quality/fresh like.

Looks like MCT's are the way to go to as fuel while maintaining a low body fat percentage, but anyone looking to reduce their body fat should steer clear! Coconut oil is full of MCT's so would be a good quick source of energy.

My mum didnt cook some liver properly and ended up with food poisoning! Campylobacter or something.
