Did any of you see the binge britain diet doctors special last year ? they had Iwan Thomas the olympic athlete eat 600g of red meat every day for 2 weeks in which time he put on 2 inches around his chest and his weight went up by half a stone.
Some pretty good gains for a 2 week period and this was only with light weight workouts.
I'm tempted to try this out,
First of all I thought about the cost involved, but then I looked at the money I spend on supps ! And I can't say any supplement that I've taken for a while has put 2 inches on my chest.
Opinions ?

get into plenty red meat. best food for growth imo. Alex t that used to post here all the time eats sh!tloads of the stff and he is pretty damn big and very lean.
Yeah but what else did he eat? Surely he didn't just eat 600g of red meat everyday?
Don't wish it was easier; wish you were better
I can't imagine a meat only diet being particularly good for you... I'm thinking vitamin and mineral deficiencies and imbalanced fatty acids, as well as a wrecked digestive system. Even the paleo man ate fruit, nuts and other plant sources of nutrients too!
Having said that, protein from solid food sources is vital and more anabolic than any supplement. I cringe when I read about people for convenience sake trying to get all their protein from just shakes or milk...
meat is the best thing to eat if its organic grass fed etc when i stay with my dad i eat 2-3 huge steaks a day and i never put any weight on at all
