    Hi All,
Does any one know where or how I can work out the calorie and nutrient breakdown on foods from restaurants?

Frankie & Benny's to begin with..

    Ceasar Chicken Sandwich. (and Fries)

Have tried Google but can't find anywhere...

Thanks for your help if you can.

It depends what exactly is in the meal and you'd have to find out the recipe and weights, unless the company provides nutritional information (which is probably inaccurate)

It sounds like rubbish food anyway.

I was just after a rough guide. I know I won't get exact details..

It's basically grilled chicken breast with salad and caesar sauce on thick sliced wholewheat bread..

I can't help having to eat out some times..

Your best bet is to see if someone has entered it as a custom food on one of these nutrition sites, or you could email frankie and bennies and see if they'll give you the info.

Alternatively, you could find similar products and take an average. Judging by the ingredients you've described, it seems like the big variable is going to be the caesar sauce, other than that, you can probably make a rough guess as to the nutritional value of each item, like the breast, the chicken, the fries ...

Actually, if you're going out, I find Nando's to be very friendly. 1/4 or 1/2 chicken with side salad .. I might even cook that for myself at home!

    Just call that meal "x"

Then for the day you are having 2000cals + "x" for example. If that's the only meal you have out then it wont make much difference what "x" equals.

Don't worry about it too much!

Nando's is awsome, half a chicken with the hotest sauce and salad all the way for me please.

As far as nutritional data for restaurants, McDonalds lists there's on there website. Anywhere else i'M not sure of.

I just made a rough guess from the main parts..

2 slices bread, 150g chicken breast, and found a caesar salad dressing on food focus.

Just wanted to see if any one else had done it before..

    Thanks anyway..

It was my lunch on a work day.. took a customer out for lunch.

Just that I have just started back training and recording my eating to see if I need to amend anywhere, and wanted to put in the nutrient breakdown as best I could..

Once I been back a few weeks I won't bother so much, as I will know where my calories are right and wrong going forward..

    Cheers anyway..
