I remember having this discussion many moons ago about how calories are a retarded, outdated and very simplistic method for diet control.

Does anyone know where the thread is?

We all know in a calorie deficit that weight loss will occur but we need to remember that calories are a unit of measurement and are calculated by a flame in a laboratory not as the body works as a unit.

I would rather eat a low calorie, nutrient dense diet than a calorie perfect, nutrient low diet.

    Anyone recall the discussion?

I used the search function, I'm sure the thread title was actually 'Is a calorie a calorie?' and I believe I started it

    Can't find it though....

How a man can eat 36,000 calories is beyond me.
    I nearly died laughing!
Just the thought of eating a WHOLE chicken... >.<
Did you ever do it in the end man?

Well yeah a whole chicken is.. kinda big =P
I had this sort of cartoon image of someone having a whole chicken on their plate and 30 mins later just bones left and the customary "im full" burp >.<

1kg of oats with 30 scoops of whey and a litre of OJ on the other hand.....
