    Jus ta quick question Im looking to buy oats to mix with my WHEY in the mornings, are the normal QUAKER OATS okay to get?

    Just get the kilo bags of tesco or sainsbury own brand. They are about 60-70pence per kilo.

    Cheapest I have found is iceland, £1.20 for 2kg, just go for the cheapest u can find

    Tesco value oats i reckon are the cheapest i can find (cant remember exact price) about 50p for a 1kg bag. Bit rough but dont notice the difference when they come out the blender!

    tesco are 44p a kilo.

    i pulled off a newspaper article before that quaker oats and the cheaper oats are all processed in the same factory!

    oats are oats!!

    When i used to have oats in a shake I never used to blend them, I liked the rough consistancy.

    Yep I prefer the rough texture throw them in my shaker and mix with the whey and water

    yeah i used to like the thicker consistency, but post workout i like it blended for smoothness and its easier to wash the shaker after
