    I just wondered which of the fat types are good and which are bad as i notice 3 types on the back of packaging:
    - Saturates (which i took to be bad)
    - Monosaturates
    - Polysaturates (i think was the other)

    yeah ur right. it is best to look for polyunsaturated fats. saturated fats are the ones you want to keep low, BUT NOT AVOID! we need them for hormone production.

    Actually, hormones can be made predominantly from cholestorol. Keep the poly's and the mono's high, and the saturates low. In terms of poly's, keep the omega 3 fats to a maximum.
