If you want to stay glucose adapted then the body requires around 120g of carbs daily BEFORE any activity, add in a high intensity, low volume workout and you are looking at around 150-170g to replenish glycogen stores optimally.
Put it into something like FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and work it out yourself.

heres my broscienece on this lol
for ME
the best way to keep lean and lose fat is to only eat cabrs around wo around 150g pre and pwo keeping fat low minmising fat storage down due to insulin
for bulking i find the same protocal but more carbs around wo's around 300g or so and pro/fats thats keep insulin sensitivivty etc
another BIG thing is fructose even without cal surplus eating an oversplill of this can and will make you fat so its diffferent to eat 400g of cho of sweets dried fruit etcetc compared to starches.
so bascially carbup around wo's (carb cycling really if you dont workout and are sendentary i think keto style diets are ideal for health for many reasons
fats>cho everytime to make up kcals except around workouts imo

MP37891 USE THIS FOR A DISCOUNT ON YOUR FIRST ORDER
People over complicate stuff.
If you feel you need carbs then eat them, if not then eat enough fats and protein to support muscle growth and give you energy to workout.
Humans survived for thousands of years living off meat without all the processed carbs that everyonme started living off when farming started. As had already been stated, you do not need any carbs to survive but you need fats and protein.
Well that's not right, the human race was surviving on pure vegetation and fruits (carbs) long before meats were introduced into the diet! And as for refined carbs, obv your diet Is wrong, you need to be eating unrefined oats, fresh fruit and veg for carbs! Carbs are our main source of energy!
No Tim, just no.... any research for your claims man?
