Paleofitness: a guide for the paleo-natural bodybuilder

Thought this may be of interest to some, VERY interesting that this guy recommends fasted (kind of) training and PALEO eating for bodybuilding... in the year 2000!!!

Ahead of his time no doubt! Anyone know about Philip Thrift at all?

Never heard of him! Appears a man slightly before his time though as you say J.

I think it means three quarters of a pound dude! So about 1.7k of meat a day, sounds pretty insane still (although I have around 1k give or take).

Considering the year of this I think we can let him off some things, although by nowadays the training and diet intake look a little bro like, maybe I can coin the term 'paleo-bro'?

Haha logic told me it would be 3/4lb, but I've seen some rediculous diets on the net so you never know!

3.75 Lbs of meat a day seems a lot, and since an ounce of meat or fish has approximately 7 grams of protein this is 420g of protein. WOW

Water requirements are increased on carnivorous diets but 5 litres of water is excessive, the 'at least' would be cause for further concern.

Have you read any of Nate Miyaki's articles? Probably the best approach to combining paleo with sports nutrition I've seen yet.
