I usually just have a low carb protein shake or sugar free jelly with protein powder before I go to bed. I was starving last night + had to have a bowl of oatmeal too. Is it best to avoid carbs before bed?+what do others have as their last meal of the day?

Carbs are fine. I usually have cottage cheese on toast with PB.

Carbs before bed will help you sleep. I tend to avoid them before bed only when cutting

I was wondering if anyone had fruit. I was gonna have an apple last night but opted for the oats cos I thought I should keep fruit just before or after I train. Would definitely have been less cals if Id just had an apple, especially considering my serving sizes of oatmeal!!
