Been hearing that many of you have oats (Carbs) in the form of a shake. Just wanted to know what type of oats were good for that (any morrisons or tesco brand for example?) or super fine stuff. Also is it ok that in the shake that I take at night i could add the oats - which at the moment consist of Whey and some milk. Probably a stupid question - but you actually put in the oats in the blender right?

    Thanks.

I am currently using some of MP's great ultrafine oats in my morning shake.
I simply chuck a heaped scoop of ultra-fine oats in with equal quantity of WPC80, 2.5gms of creatine mono and 2.5gms of glutamine. (all in a shaker with water)
sets me up for the day great!

you would have to grind down any standard type of oats as they wouldnt be very drinkable, alterntively you could make porridge with the oats and add the whey etc in to that to have a solid food alternative to the shake i chug down!

I use normal supermarket oats in my shake. I just mix and shake (no blender), it is a bit lumpy but it still tastes okay!

I do that, feels like drinking cement if you don't get the amounts right! Nasty as with water tho

I tried with the normal oats but it's just not the same for a drink. It is definitley better with the ultra fine brand if you want to mix it as a shake.
