Trying the IF macro's over a full day starting tomorrow which ties in nicely as its a training day. Not going to have an early breakfast but just have one when I get hungry.

Hey guys just been working out my macros, tell me what you think

    Rest Day

    Cals 1701
    Carb 44.25g
    Fat 80g
    Prot 201g

    Training Days

    Cals 2879
    Carb 462.25g
    Fat 40g
    Prot 167.5g

Should I up the protein and decrease carbs on the training day? The carbs seem a bit high to me.

    I'm almost 26, 6ft2 and currently 78.8kg.

I try to keep protein the same on both days. It doesn't always work out like that, but it gives you room for manoeuvre. Carbs do look a little high! Yu could push it to 50g of fat on training days as well, but no more

Cheers Rash, I had considered that. If I increase protein to 201g and fat to 50g my carbs still come out at 406.2g!

You could see how that works for you for a couple of weeks, and if its not working, then maybe increase protein to 250?

Yeah good call. I was going to keep eye on it anyway and then adjust as and when I need to. After all these equations are just estimates anyway!

I agree wish Rash. I keep protein same on both and cap myself at 200g. Fat I keep to 50g max on work out days. What sort of multiples/calculations are you using for workout/rest days????

good question how have you worked that out.

I would also agree with the protein comments, and a just carbs and fats.
