    The innuit diet is about 80% polyunsaturated fat from a study we were told about at uni.

    They had the lowest rate of coronary heart disease in the world from a study done back in the 60's. However, this isnt to say they couldnt die quickly from other causes, like heavy metal poisoning like 43aso's info indicates, which is a fairly recent phenomena i think

    I find that impossible to believe. Even salmon oil is only about 40% polyunsaturated. The Eskimo diet might be less than, say, 50% monounsaturated and saturated fat, but it can't possibly be 20%!

    they have highi ntake of omega 3, also seal meat has almost no fat at all. the small amount that is is sat/mon/poly 25:50:25 ratio
