No Beta Alanine is used primarily as a pre workout supplement and can come in either tablet or powder form.
CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) is a naturally occurring fatty acid that can help with fat loss and lean muscle gain. Again both tablet and powder form.
You take the CLA with food, but the B AL you can have whenever.
I guess they have changed it to allow the thermopure to have maximum effect, so boost your metabolism just before you workout.
Diet is more important, son't get too hung up on the supplements.
