He tried fasting twice a week....the consequences were not so good.

Why do you think you need to fast twice a week?

    More isnt always better.....trust me.

I havent fasted twice a week its just a principle you should always apply to fat loss situations.

I dont want to push you to much because I think you still have a bit of an unhealthy preoccupation with your body image.

I think I've said this before but I would seriously consider working with somebody for developing a good fat loss protocol for yourself.

I know you've struggled in the past and been at a loss of what to do, getting someone else to program it for you would take a lot of the pressure off and make it less stressful, give them the responsibility.

i cant really afford to pay someone to do that which is why i came here.

and i know u will say your only trying to help or what ever but its a little annoying how i ask about hopw to **** fat and sort of get told i have isuuse with my body image and how i look, i dont at all im a normal guy that just wants to loose my belly like most guys out there, i dont see why it should be any different for me to ask at 14.5 stone then someone who is at 20 stone, im not trying to waste my body away i dont want to be some super slim guy with abs popping out and being able to see every part of my muscle through my skin, i simply want to know a way of loosing some unwated belly fat as iv been given bad advise in the past and as a result have never really managed to, that is all, i diont have body dimorphia im as far from annorxic as one could be just simply want to lose some body fat and get back to the shape i was in in the pics i put up before.

Intermittent fasting diet for fat loss, muscle gain and health and read as much as you can.

Simplified it is fast for 16 hours, eat for 8. There is much more required than that though, just have a good browse through the articles on there.

Look im only going by the previous threads and Im sorry if I caused offense.

trust me when i say I, myself, have been in some pretty precarious situations bordering on obsessive eating disorders that have caused some minor health issues on no less than 3 seperate occassions. Im not saying you're the same but thats how the tone came accross in your previous thread, you sounded stressed about it, you sounded like I did.

This is why I say more is not always better, instead of reading the article fully you went straight for I want to fast twice a week. Going in all guns blazing with a protocol you are unfamiliar with will cause you problems.

There is enough information in that report by berardi to give you a good plan. But as he states at the end he didnt get much better results than he did under his standard dieting method. 95% of your results will be based on your health, training, food type and quantity. If you struggle to lose fat there is something wrong with one of those or there is an underlying hormonal issue, fasting wont magically solve the issue.

    To retort with Dan, above.

Fasting is an additional stress on the body, it would be optimal to dial in diet and healthly lifestyle/training prior to including the protocol-- it is like the icing on the cake

Look into carb and calorie cycling, based on activity - this, in my opinion, is the make or break solution.
