    Hi guys,

Just wondering what you find to be the best kind of food for last thing in the day when on a bulking routine (on the basis that it constitutes your 5th/6th+ meal of the day).

We've all heard a lot about whether you should/shouldn't eat late at night, whether you should/shouldn't eat carbs etc.

I know that a great number of guys reach for their whey if they wake up in the middle of the night (some even set an alarm, right?! ), so as to keep the body ticking over...

But if you don't do this, how do you ensure your body is suitably fed - especially on training days - while you sleep?

    Cheers

Ignore the advertising guys but the info relates well to your question, Barney!

However, I think he goes over the top in parts and has a bit of a downer on drinking milk. But it's nice to know, without having a science degree, I intuitively decided to have my whey protein mixed with milk rather than water! But solid mealwise, Barney, some source of protein along the lines of the article.

I'm the same work out about 6 then a good dinner straight after with a protein shake and then some colostrum before bed.

The article got me thinking though - considering I never sleep all the way through maybe I should take advantage and grab something?
