I think this is thread will be really interesting. I look forward to the results.
As you know, i have recently been raving about paleolithic diet, a part of this dietary research has involved eating more from nature, berries and herbs e.t.c
I have always believed that herbs are extremely beneficial but have often found myself swamped with the sheer number of available medicinal herbs.
I believe they form an almost essential part of the diet, humans evolved eating many herbs, seeds and berries, modern diet in comparison is lacking many of the complex nutrients within herbs.
In the following months i am going to be experimenting with herbs in relation to training and health, i will report my findings, negative and positive, i hope this will give an insight for other people and for possible products for MP to stock in the future.
Herbs have multiple health benefits, i imagine they would be especially useful for any athlete or anyone requiring top performance from their body.
Many can be used for healing but i will not be studying them for this effect...i'm not particularly ill, i will be mainly after general health and vitality.
There are a lot of potential herbs for me to try out, some very powerful ones are very easy to get hold of and unexpected such as garlic, ginger, turmeric, rosemary, nettles e.t.c........
There is a lot of untapped potential out there in my opinion, the popular herbs happen to be the ones given media spotlight i think i will discover some very powerful herbs that not many people consider using.
I will be sourcing lots of herbs from a certain website as well as making my own natural preperations.
Herbs that have already taken my interest to be investigated for wellbeing and male health are the follwoing
-Garlic
-Ginger
-Passionflower
-Turmeric
-Camomile
-Hawthorn berries
-Nettle
-Cloves
-Cardamon seeds
-Ashwaganda
-Buchu leaves
-Valerian root
-Chickweed
-Lemon balm
-Horsetail
-Guelder rose
-Catnip

Wouldn't you say it's unlike you'll feel any of the medicinal or physiological benefits of herbs? Especially if you've already getting a decent amount of nutrients via your diet?
I suppose they may well have certain benefits, but I'd argue that they're unlikely to have any tangible effect on you![]()
