Yup that's the one I get in the UK, when I'm over in Japan the miso everywhere is amazing quality, since I've been home I've been having a lot of the stuff I brought back plus a LOT of nori seaweed.

If you get the good quality, unpasteurised paste (e.g. Clearspring), this stuff is a good source of minerals, prebiotic bacteria, and some interesting amino acids like gluconic and glucaric acids which has been shown to fight the effects of radiation poisoning and improve efficiency of liver detoxification processes.
It is also an excellent appetite suppressant and at only about 15 kcals a serving its great on diets!
There are several types. I like the dark (brown rice) one, because you also get the unique beneficial oils found in brown rice as well, like oryzanols, beneficial fatty alcohols like octasanol and hexacosanol, tocotrienols, and tocopherols. I avoid the ones with tofu in, as i think tofu is sh*te
I get the brown rice miso with sea vegetables from Clearspring. Very tasty. The best way to keep the fragile components of it intact is to pour hot water into the cup FIRST, leave a few minutes, then add the paste to the water and stir.

Milk Kefir
Full of:
- protein (is supposed to be a complete protein)
- Contains minerals and amino acids
- full of B12, B1 and Vitamin K
- boosts energy
- helps with lactose intolerance (I have been having it for 6 months now and having been lactose intolerant I am now starting to be able to introduce some dairy!)
- Full of friendly probiotics
- Boosts your immune system
- Makes your skin fantastic
- Helps with weight loss
- Helps with control of cholesterol
It is amazing stuff! Don't bother with the powdered cultures though - go for the grains - more economical in the long run.
