hmm. i might try it, see if it has any bad effects on my weight training, and drop it if it does.
    im thinking
sat- 6 sprints with 3 minute rests, then a 30 minute fast walk.
    thur- just the 6 sprints.

you need 3mins rest to recover from sprints? Depends on the lkength of the sprint I suppose. I advise 6 10-15sec sprints with 75-80secs rest.

Something like a 1:4 - 1:6, work to rest ratio would be good.

I have done 100m sprints with walk back recovery of 60seconds, 6-10 reps.

last time i did them i took 3 mins to completely recover my breath yep! this may be partkly due to the fact i was sprinting for 15 seconds, then jogging back to the starting position straight away.
i suppose if i shorten the rests it will be less stress on my CNS?

15 seconds sprint with 90 seconds recovery might not be too bad, i can only try it.

The better you get at sprinting, the more intensely you will be able to sprint, and thus you will need slightly longer recovery times the more you do it. Top sprinters have been known to have 4-5 min rest intervals between bouts.

    though I'd resurrect this post.

I stumbled across Alwyn's website and knew I had read the article somewhere else. Quick search on here and found it.

    Excellent info.
