I think he was more worried about salmonella than the risk of biotin deficiency Nu!

Salmonella in eggs is exceedingly rare, even when Edwina Curry stoked up a panic in the mainstream press with her inane comments! I would never advise anyone to eat only raw (unpasteurised) egg whites for any reason solely because of the risk if biotin deficiency. I stressed this in my reply because khris said he was "thinking about blending raw egg whites and some yolk into milk". Discarding yolks is never a good idea and a shocking waste both financially and nutritionally.

It always puzzles me why people are so adamant that Egg Yolks are like the devil re-incarnated! Eat the whole egg!

So what's the nutritional info for one whole egg, calories, fat & protein.

I feel guilty, had 2 whole eggs with 2 egg whites scrambled this morning with 2 wholegrain rice cakes with almond butter!

On average, I have about 20 eggs a week (sometimes less if they become boring for a while). Almonds are also good for you, and a huge anti-inflammatory.
