    That by starving her self is not the best way to loose weight, she has just started fitness classes 4-5 ttimes a week on her dinner hour, from what she has told me it is 30 mins of variess class from, spinning, circuit training, body blitz body pump so on.

    she is 19 year old, 8st 12lb and roughly 5ft 7in, there isnt much on her but being a woman wants that perfect figure which to be honest she could have, just needs to tone up around the stomach area, anyway she thinks by starving her self she is loosing weight, she only has poached egg on wholemeal toast on a morning and thats it till tea time, i have tried to tell her its not olny bad for her but not a really good way of loosing weigh, but i dont think she belives me so can someone please back me up here lol

    Also if anyone could help with a diet or even supplements if i have to get her them, will be most appriciated

    After 3 days her metabolism will come to a grinding halt and fat loss will cease!

    She won't have the energy to do the classes and will risk burning up lean muscle tissue further retarding metabolism.

    At her bodyweight she could prob lose weight on 1500 cals per day.

    From personal experience, I've learnt that you can't teach/educate people like this on diet; she needs to realise herself.

    Wow, she's the same height as me but almost 2 stone lighter and tiny in comparison, she must already be quite skinny?

    I think taking supplements is a waste of time until her diet is sorted out.

    I was going to say have her read my blog but if she thinks she's fat at 8st 12, she probably would think I was obese

    I'm sorry, but i have little sympathy/understanding of people like this. Is she borderline crazy?
    Beat her up with a stick of celery....only way to be sure!

    Seriously though, everyone with any knowledge will tell her what the best way to train/diet is, and what she is doing is not the correct way, and no doubt she'll ignore everyone. You can only do so much dude.....
    ...bring on the celery sticks of death!

    haha well after making her read that i think its finaly clicked and she is going to start monday lol so thanks everyone, but could anyone give her some sort of example diet what she could follow, any advice would be great as i am not really the best at stuff like this

    Look at JaG's training diary and photos and follow similar methods. Loads of stickies in diet and training section. Once you have read them then post a diet and training plan for comment.
