I've been into weightlifting for a while, but a female friend has decided that she'd like to start with weights as well as her cardio. She's only got two 2kg dumbells at the moment. Would anyone be able to give her some tips regarding exercises she should be doing for general toning and the sort of diet she should have? She has a very low basal metabolic rate so 1000-1200kcal should be enough for her, right?
