    Hello chaps and chapettes.

I train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to start off.

I'm beginning a weight drop, as currently I'm 74kg and I used to fight under 70kg at 68kg (my comfortable category), but now I fight under 76kg. I went on a bit of a bender with the diet for a while while I trained, so I've put on strength, but in return I've put on some excess weight which isn't great in terms of where I'm fighting.

    So here's the plan.

Mon - Bench Press, Weighted Push Ups (5 sets x 6 reps), HIIT

Tues - BOR or Inverted Rows (5x6), Wide grip Pull ups (5xFailure), 30-40 minutes steady cardio

    Wed - Squats, Deadlifts (5x6)

Thurs - Military Press of Push Press (5x6), Dips (3xF), Narrow grip Pull ups, (palms facing in, 3xF) HIIT

Friday - Core training, 30-40 minutess steady cardio

    Sat/Sun - Rest

The reason I'm going to train one body part each day is due to time restrictions from work and the amount of cardio to help my endurance and aid in the weight drop and I will stick to 1 minute rest in between sets too.

I've got written down the amount of weight I've lifted on the exercises, so I aim to maintain it, and maybe even increase strength, but with the drop in bodyweight, who knows, we shall see.

Question I wanted to ask is, what is a decent and sufficient calorie intake I want to be consuming to achieve this? It'll be hard to stick to with the travelling I do for work, but I would appreciate a rough guide to stick to.

    Thanks and any advice welcome.

Oh yeah, I will be taking Whey, Recovery XS, Thermopure, Omega 3, Vitamins, Creatine (may drop as its in Recovery), ZMA, Glucosamine and I may try some L-Carnitine (opinions?)

    Ta again
