Just asking what you guys do to help you in your combat sports?

i keep it fairly simple and do bench, squats, deadlifts and pull ups. For cardio i run a few sprints or up to a mile and a half/2 miles at a fair pace.

Just looking for new ideas to incorporate if anyones got anything to add.

    (I box btw)

    Cheers

i've started crossfit for conditioning. although the crossfit workouts i do are pick and mix. if it looks pants/ stupid or high risk of injury, i skip it and do kettlebell complexes.

stuff like high rep olympic lifts are stupid.

some of hte crossfit workouts are quite fun. there's one called annie ( i think) which is basically 100 pull ups, 100 push ups, 100 squats. all bodyweight and done for time. the faster you get through all 300 reps, the better.
