    Hello,

I'm an intermediate level weight lifter and have done 5x5 SL style routines for a couple of years as i've always enjoyed the strength, i suspect this is good training for explosivity but high weight/low rep ranges has given me several injuries and feel i need to lay off it for a while.

So my question is, what othere rep ranges are beneficial for muay thai? I have built a respectable level of strength with SL5x5 but realise that speed and endurance is also just as if not more important. Is a high rep, lower weight routine with movements being completed quickly and short breaks between sets a good idea?

Yes! High reps and small rests inbetween tend to build muscle endurance, which is essential for Muay Thai. For Muay Thai, in my experience, you need to be as light and as fast as you can possibly be for your height (don't wanna be mega heavy and short and face a mega tall guy xD) so more on the endurance and less on the bulking up really.
    Hope this helps dude.
