Ha ha ha - I have been banging the drum about this stuff for years, I actually make my own nowadays.

The pharma industry had a big campaign against it saying it didn't work, it would poison you and make you go blue etc etc. Then it was pointed out that The Lancet had carried articles and reports dating back a century saying it had saved numerous lives in various hopeless situations. It was further pointed out that it was routinely administered to new-borns to save their eyesight and that burns victims were sprayed with it to prevent large scale infection. Oops, end of campaign.

Big pharma now sell plasters and bandages impregnated with it and you can buy it in the High Street as well as online.

The wiki entry on this isn't exactly praising the stuff Miracle Mineral Supplement - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Mind you, it also cites Stephen Barret as "an expert in health fraud", so my appreciation of the entry immediately reduces.
