    I've always found that sheep (ewe) and goat dairy is much more agreeable to me than cows dairy, and sheep dairy in particular is like tonic for me.

    One prevalent issue with cows dairy is that the beta-casein proteins are of the A1 type in modern breeds, and this type of casein is a chief suspect in intolerance issues (and possibly even behavioural problems). However, in sheep and goat the casein is predominantly A2 beta-casein.

    I found this interesting analysis of cow, sheep, goat, and (in some parts) human dairy.

    The Nutritional Value of Sheep Milk

    It seems that apart from protein content and cost, sheep and goat milk is superior in pretty much every regard - i.e in terms of more vitamins, minerals, beneficial fatty acids (inc. high level of microbial MCTs), protein quality (compare the BCAA content), beneficial protein fractions (i.e lactoferrin and lactoglobulins). For sheep's milk this is particularly so.
