Hi
I have been a gym goer for over a year now but really became serious about 7 months ago. My body shape has changed but muscle building and weight gain is slow. I have read and read (and read) about nutrition but need some help on protein. Research suggests I need to take 1-2g of protein for each kg of body weight. I weigh 82kg and use whey isolate.. my problem is I have no idea how many scoops I should take, or how often.
Can anyone help put this into plain English for me please.. ?
Thanks,
Paul

or in short and to awnser your question, since you weigh 82kg which in my measurments is 180lbs you,ll need around 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. (this is my general rule of thumb) so lets break that down, so you,ll be ok in the neighborhood of 180g to 270g of protein. if your a 6 meals a day guy and lets say you are, divide your daily total by 6. so lets say you shoot for 200g of protein your shake should be 33g of protein. or too round that off 2 scoops (aprox). thats just a leaf out of my book, hope ive helped.
