Hi everyone, found this forum from buying mp products, read a few posts and seems like a real friendly forum so I joined.

    Just a bit about myself,
    I'm Luke and I'm a 24yr old support worker
I live in Southampton, been weight training on and off for 2 years but only started getting serious for the last 6 months. My goal is to put on size and muscle.

2 year ago Before I started training I was a skinny 135lb 5ft 10 dweeb with 11" arms and a 32" chest at 11% bf. Didn't really follow a diet as such I just drunk protein shakes and thought I'd get huge. I did manage to gain about 10lbs over a year and a half going to the gym on and off.

6 months ago when I got back off holiday from turkey I really wanted to do something about my unhappy scrawny body so I downloaded my fitness pal app on my iPhone and started tracking my food. I ate anything and everything for about 4months and gained 25lbs! But I was so oblivious to my actual physique and too obsessed with the scales to realease I was gaining way too quickly and getting fat ( quite sad actually ). So although I bulked up I honestly think about 7 of those lbs was actually muscle. My body fat went up to 15% and I did gain 2" on my arms and a few on my chest.

So my goal now is to undo the stupid work I did last year and get my body fat down whilst trying to maintain the little muscle I gained and start a clean bulk.

I look forward to talking to some of you and taking in loads of info!

    Thanks

    Luke

Thanks everyone, I'll post up my current diet and training when I have time, although I will be changing it all in the next month or so.

No matter how hard, heavy, and intensely you train, muscle will not grow without proper nutritional reinforcement.

Well i used to train at st marys leisure centre in a little room at the back, tonnes of plates etc in there really quite good, so consider going back there but ideally id like sampsons or area 51, probably area 51 though as id have to bus to sampsons and thats adds say another 40 quid a month to the 40 quid membership so cant really justify that. Legends was another possibility but I think its closed down now, shame as it was so close to my house haha

Is the accolade gym the one over the northam bridge?
