Hi, I stumbled upon this site whilst googleing and it seems very very good, the best thing being that its the only website supplying supplements with an active community forum.

About myself, I'm a 20 year old male, have been weight training on and off, over the past 3-4 years. More off than on over the past year and a bit, which led to a lot of fat gained. I started a low carb diet around 3-4 months ago and have lost just under 2 stones so far. I've got a bit of fat left on my stomach and want to get rid of it asap.

This seems like the best time to start weight training properly, I want to gain muscle mass without gaining fat and want to also lose the fat that I have left. Although I'm not new to the weight training aspect, I am however new to the nutrition and supplement part of it, having never taken any supplements or whey protein shakes or anything of the sort before. So any advice and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Welcome to the forums! You came to the right place.

It is hard to recommend anything without knowing some more about you. Generally people need to know the following about you over and above what you have already said.

    1. What a typical days food consists of
    2. How much/ what type of training you currently do in a week.

Without knowing this it's impossible to recommend supplements. Most people can make improvements by refining their diets first.
