Good progress smiles. Definately gained siginificant size around the chest and lats.

The bf gain is to be expected but I'd say you've kept it to a minimum. I agree that you should carry on slowly bulking to 200+ lbs. You should have no problem with this looking at your progress already. Keep at it mate.

Good progress on your strength by the way. Been following your journal for a while now.

any stats for your lifts?.. then and now etc?
Cheers, lifts wise my strength has definitely gone up, but then so has my weight, so I'd be disappointed if it hadn't. It's hard to tell exactly, but I reckon my deadlift has gone up by ~25kg, squat ~10-15kg, bench ~10kg. I've only just started getting back into squatting, so that should increase over the coming weeks. I had a bit of a lull where not alot happened strenght-wise when I changed my routine up to being 3x8 based for a bit of contrast after doing a 5x5 for so long, but since I've been on this ME/DE split it's much better. I found that my muscular endurance was really good, for example I could deadlift 125-130kg for a 5x5, but my 1RM was ~150kg, I guess it's as a result of the way I've always trained, I'd never really done any 1RM stuff before. It should be interesting to see what happens over the coming months. Thanks for the comments mate.

Cheers dude, I reckon I'll halt at 200lbs, the missus says she can't wait for me to not have to eat so much lol, and any bigger than that I think I'd feel a bit cumbersome with regard to muay thai, which I'm itching to get back into. My main focus now is to keep the strength going up.
You're doing pretty well yourself mate on the training front, it must be nice to be able to eat properly again. I've been following your journal too.
