    im gonna try shoeless squats and deads tomorrow, will feel a tool and get odd looks but they'll soon realise, im doing ATG.

    Did shoeless deads and squats today - can't say I felt much of a difference however my lifts last week were:

    Squat 60kg 3x8
    Dead 80kg 3x6

    today's lifts were:

    Squat 60kg 3x10
    Dead 90kg 3x6

    I find it a pretty good thing to curl your toes upward, this immediately puts all the weight onto the heel, which is where you want it!

    They have a webby? Trying to find these Nike Free's but having real trouble finding them in a non-hideous colour and fairly cheap. Worried about getting conned on ebay as is the norm

    tried shoeless deads today, felt more stable than in shoes even though i wear the lonsdale shoes and the heel is fairly flat.

    why would you need a lifting strap for your back if your form is decent??

    sometimes your grip is the weak link when doing back exercises such as deadlifts, thats why some people use straps.
