Thought I'd do a few videos of my lifting today, I just did 3 light sets of squats and 3 light sets of deadlifts, as I trained legs 3 days ago.

Please comment on form. These were filmed on my phone so I apologise for the shocking quality! It wasn't until after my squats that I noticed my camera lense was covered in filth.

    Squat 60kg x 8 (Last set)

    Deadlift 80kg x 6 (first set)

    Deadlift 80kg x 6 (second set)

Very good from on the deadlifts, the squats are hard to tell if you could get a video from the side it would be helpfull.

I can't help but notice that you lift very slowly off the floor, however the weights look easy for you.
Move the weight faster when you lift it and take it down slower (on things apart from deads).

Edit: sorry about my light remarks didn't read the full post, DOH.

Keep the smoke machine off when you're doing the squats next time.

Also up the weight man you could easily do another 10-20k for reps on deads.
My PB for deads is 100kg x 5, 5, 5. Today I did 80kg x 6, 6, 6, which was fairly easy. This is because I havn't done them for around 4 weeks due to a knee niggle. Hopefully I will be back upto 100kg in about 2-3 weeks.

This is mostly down to the stuff on my camera lense, and the lighting.

Surely if I lift too fast I'll sacrifice form?
