Thought they were quite impressive pics till someone pointed out your age, in which case the are very impressive. Looks more like the body of an athletic 25yr old imo. Keep up the good work!

Very impressive, great work!
Is that purely from weight training or is it a mix of cardio aswell? Also, is your diet aimed towards a calorie deficit or are you just eating as normal?
My girlfriend is trying to shed some weight atm so i'd love to pass on some info from you!

Thanks all for the nice comments. I still have a lot to do, though most of the work that needs doing is below the belt. I don't have any problems adding muscle to my legs, but like a lot of women, I have a hard time losing fat from there. So that's one of my goals. (The others basically revolve around being stronger at various different exercises).
I'd say most of my back development comes from deadlifts. I don't much care for swimming (actually swimming itself I enjoy, but I don't like cold, and I don't like the hassle of getting changed, getting wet, getting dry again and getting changed again, and I especially don't like chlorinated water filled with hair and floating corn plasters) and I'm a bit rubbish at chins. It's one area I'm aiming to improve on, but right now I can only do 4 (supine grip - I can't do prone grip pull-ups at all as it bothers my RC).
Having said that, I have been doing a lot more rowing movements since Christmas in a bid to improve my posture (which is the typical computer geek slump). Generally I like to go heavy and rarely do more than 10 reps for upper body movements. More usually it's in the 5-6 rep range. I generally stick with free weights, aside from the odd pulley movement.
I don't do much cardio. I do walk several miles a day, but you won't catch me red-faced and sweaty on a machine. I'm not a hamster. I will go out for a run every so often, because I enjoy going somewhere green (I'm lucky to live in south west London where there are plenty of nice commons) but it's usually no more than once a week (I completed a 10K recently and trained for that running once a week. You don't need to do any more, despite what anyone tells you). I am intending to add some sprint workouts, though this is dependant on how the glute/ham thing reacts.
Robbo - I don't count calories but I don't eat many carbs. My diet is mostly protein (powder, tuna, meat), veggies, some fruit and nuts and the odd treat. I avoid grains like the plague (though I will eat dairy - I must have my milky cuppa!) I'm certainly not immune to things like chocolate and ice cream but if I'm going to have them, I go for gourmet versions and really enjoy it.
Amazing. I'm same as everyone else. I'm 24 and I wouldn't have blinked if someone had said the picture was of someone of my own age, i'd have thought they looked good 2. You should be proud.
Just to add to the list... 41?!!!
