This picture is actually about six months old. I'm a bit leaner now.
About me:
I'm 37 years old and started excercising about three years ago.
First of all with my mountain bike over a summer. Was gutted when the sun stopped and I couldn't cycle anymore.
So joined a gym. Around 20 months now. Between 3-5 times a week.
Was about 14-15 stone.
Changed what I eat about three weeks ago [low fat, I won't call it a diet] and am currently weighing in at 12 st 7 (about five lbs less than usual).
Bit too light really, as I'm just over six foot tall.
Not sure what to do next, as I enjoy cardio as well as the weights. (can now run 10k in under 45 minutes, which considering I haven't run since I was 18, is none too shabby).
Wouldn't mind building my chest and abs up a little. I have a naturally muscular physique, so even when I was around 15 stone, I didn't look it.
I have started (in the last two months) to work on chest, biceps, etc on different days. Before this it was mix mash of everything.
I can see the difference in the chest already.
I always finish on the treadmill (which I probably shouldn't do).
4 minutes light jog, then 30 seconds sprints, press pause until the machine stops, then press go again (at the highest speed I can go). 20 minutes of this is around 5.25 kilometers (and 450 calories according to the treadmill, lot of crap, but at least its something to beat each time).
It's either muscle or half marathon. Need some incentive guys. (or whats the best way to do both??).
