Pictures are poor im afraid. All i can see is someones head and a mirror image of your back?

The guy in the pic below has mature muscle. By the looks of it has been training 5-10years plus.

To clarify pics are no where near adequate to offer any advice.

The guy is apparently 6'3" at 190 with a 29" waist

The guy is very lean but not shredded which Id say puts him around 6-7% bf and thus has about 178lb of lean tissue, how do you stack up against that?

He is clearly done some bodybuilding style contest prep for that photoshoot he wouldnt look like that all the time and im pretty sure there would have been some photoshopping as well.

The guy also knows how to body build to create an aesthetic physique with good proportions and that takes quite a few years of experience.
Two things are infinte: the universe and human stupidity; and im not sure about the universe.

What do you mean by 'mature muscle' Greg? Is this what happens if you built muscle in your teens to early twenties and it somehow changes slightly as you get older? I have heard the term before but I'm not really sure what it means?

@maolito... You need to provide some better pictures for us to evaluate the current state of your physique.

i would question your dedication now to save yourself from wasting your time, because the guy you're aspiring to be like has probably dedicated well over 5+ years of his life to training, diet and nutrition. I'm pretty sure that he has taken some sort of enhancements as well. There was something on tv years ago about models taking gear(mild doses) to give them a slight edge to get on the cover of a magazine. i've noticed a change in gym culture over the years, especially with the young.

I'm not trying to put you off but i think you need to be realistic about what can be achieved naturally or how much of your life and effort you are willing to dedicate to bodybuilding. Anyone can get a decent body with a good routine, diet and rest, the question is can you do it day in day out year after year? Only a few can.

There's alot for you to learn diet and training wise, also about your body and mental attitude. It takes most people years to do this by trial and error.

My bad! Re-phrase. Ok.. "Mature muscle" meaning years of training and dedication! Not that muscle matures like cheese Hahah.

I don't understand your use of the term, "mature muscle".

If you were to place two similarly sized bodybuilders side by side, one with 20 years experience and one with 5 that you could tell which was which by visual differences in their muscles?

You will need roids and dehydration to look like that.
