Finally injury free and its a new year and no better time to get into shape. Over the last year and half through sport etc ive had so many injurys such as:-

Broken hand ( 3 times in 6 months ) had numerous ammounts of surgery and wires to rectify the problems

    Shoulder injury

And an old knee problem, i tore cartiledge in my early teens

But all that aside im back and now im aiming on achieving a respectable physique that i can be confident about

At the minute im weighing in at 17.5 stone in the last year and half ive bin down to 15.8 and back up again ha

    Im 6'5 aswell

Ill post pics up aswell soon any advice on the best ways to train and the best diets to stick to would be really appreciated

    Regards Rob

As for diet theres nothing set in stone as yet, just keeping fat and carb intake at a low lots of water and sufficient protein

    Training Mon-Fri

    Early run before breakfast
Then gym late afternoon consisting of a large circuit then finishing with abs.
    Circuit would include:-
Skipping a good sesh to warm up
Shadow boxing for 1min then Shadow boxing with weights 1min Then out heavy bag for 1min all out 4-5 sets
Pressups 10 then 9,8,7.. etc as many sets until failure
    10 pressups 50 metre sprint 5 sets
Jerk and lift for a min straight then skip for a min straight around 4 sets
Then on to an ab workout
Some days ill throw in an arms session bench incline and flat and do some biceps.

Any help setting a diet and workout out in stone would be good ?

cool, looks like you got your regime sorted... maybe could just add a few more compound movements

As for diet, what's your stance on supplements? protein? thermopure? etc?

I've just added a new diet to my thread, which i will try for a couple of months then lighten it up a little: replace the recovery xs with total protein and start on the green tea and thermopure.

Cool, to trim up - one supp i highly recommend is thermopure. Last summer i took 2 tabs before a fasted morning run (drank about half litre of water first) and 2 tabs before my evening workout, gives you an energy boost as well as makes you sweat more than an eskimo in the sahara, you'll shred loads! Def value for money. But keep in mind their not miracle tabs, you still need a well balanced/high protein diet.

Compound movements? well the basics really: pull/chin ups, press ups, deadlifts, squats, shoulder press (free weight) etc. It would be easier to suggest a diet/regime after you post some pics

you have a similar base to what i started with, just make sure your diet and cardio/core movements take priority over heavy weight traing if you want to trim up
