Have you done a peaking phase after a say a 5 x 5 routine? e.g. 5 x 5 for 4-6 weeks then dropped it down to say 3 x 3 ? this could help with upping bench although your not exactally lacking in strength! Very good numbers on all your lifts

Will look into that - have heard good stuff from 5x5 routines, but have never really done low reps like that...not for a while at least.

Best person to ask would be martain B or any of the powerlifters etc you could post in the strength & power section. If I need to increase strength and also mass I use a periodised program like this: one month strength / power then follow it up with a hypertrophy phase and cycle it like that for a couple of months then finish with a maintenance for say a couple of months and then re-evaluate.

    Nath:
so what rep range do you work in at the moment?
and your goal is clearly hypertrophy really? or do you want to do lower reps for strength too?
if just hypertrophy i wouldn't care what my lifts are like, as you have made excellent gains, and have good lifts if you did do 1RM

if you really feel your bench isn't improving then that is obviously another question!
then people like James Copping and Martin Brown can try and help

PS just noticed member since 2005? you don't need my help pfttt (and with a physique like that neither) lmao

I wasnt saying it was a bad thing to have done a few cycles... just saying if you hadnt then that would be amazing naturally... still extremely impressive anyway... your legs look monster!

Nothing against steroids... im a little apprehensive to do a cycle because i worried about natural test shutting down etc.
