It's not that I haven't trained before, I just don't do really heavy weights, as I have no one to spot me. Squat is only about 110kg. I have an ex pro footballer mate who wants to lose weight, and I've talked him into doing weights, rather than wasting time with loads of cardio. Mean's I should be able to start bumping the weights up, correct each others form, and all the other benefits you get, including encouragement.

I don't even have scales at home. Have no idea what I weigh, and don't really care that much.
I have an office job, and go to the gym so that I don't ache, as I'm approaching 40 and was getting back ache.
Funny enough, I no longer have back ache (ever).
