So I've been training for 6 months now (well 8, but only 6 properly), thought I'd post up some pics of my progress, the left hand pics are from 5 months ago and the right hand ones from today, annoyingly I didn't take any pics before 5 months ago and I put on 7lb in that first month.

I've gone from 164lb in the first pics to 178 now.

I'm thinking my chest still needs quite a bit of work, and my shoulders. But I'm also wondering how I'd look if I cut my bodyfat down, any ideas on my current bodyfat %, my calipers give me approx 18%, do you think that's about right?

Clear progress there, and if anything you look leaner in the second set of pics, so looks like you got your diet pretty spot on.

18% looks about right, would be easier with an untensed pic.
Want to save 5% on your order? Want to repay me for the awesome advice I gave you? Or do you just like the cut of my jib?

Although I don't feel like I look leaner, you're right, looking at the pics I think I might be a bit, I think in the month before the first pic I ballooned a little bit, but as the weight has gone on I haven't really increased my intake and have started to notice my weight stalling now, so trying to get some more calories in but I find it hard to eat any more than I am.

Will try and get an untensed pic up as I'd like a bit of critique on my posture as well, it looks awful to me but I don't know how to sort it.

I'm not suprised you work out with a face like that, you need something to distract the women with, jeez!

I would worry gay men visit this forum just to enjoy an iPrick Shuffle.

I dont really see any progress, maybe it would be different if we met in person but the change of lighting and distance has slightly distorted the results. Did you arch your back overly in the first pic?

I suppose a stone of weight isnt going to look much if your quite a tall fella though. Starting out in a gym first time round takes alot of guts i think initially so admire the dedication and keep at it.

I kind of agree...there is a little progress, I was actually thinking that you looked a little thicker around your torse in the right hand pictures. You have some clearer definition, but I wouldn't say you were showing a huge gain or bulk, but as Billy says, it might not be so obvious in such a tall guy and to be fair pics don't always do you justice!
