    Evening All

    I've tried to attach some pictures, so fingers crossed that it works!

    I wondered whether you guys would mind guestimating my body fat % please? I've been doing weights since mid January and have made some decent progress adding 0.8kg fat, and 2.6kg lean mass. I get these readings from the gym scales and take them with a pinch of salt, but a least they provide a base from which to try and track progress.

    In the attached photos, the gym scales reckon I'm 5'8", 21% body fat (62.4kg lean, 16.5kg fat, 78.9kg total).

    Any guesses and comments welcome.

    I got news for you, your not 21%, Your easily 14-16% BF, good mid section, arms are chunky so are delts, youve got all the trimmings of a well oiled machine, just need to get the engine going.

    Thanks for the responses guys, I did think 21% seemed high and it's 50p a go to be lied to!

    we have a machine for it at work. it tells me I am about 10% and we look pretty similar. some of the older ladies in my office are running something like 60% disgusting!

    probably arround the same as me i think...I think im about 14-15% just now. Not that it matters anyway...its how you look and feel that matters.

    Glad you're not in the body transform contest if this is the progress you've made already.

    Also, as others have said already, you're surely around 14-16%.

    Congrates on the progress but dont you need to be relaxed to give an accurate bodyfat figure?

    Its a little less impressive when relaxed but you are asking. Regardless, calipers only go by the bodyfat covering the muscle it wont take note of the visceral fat under it, you could have a bf in the teens but with a 38inch waist still not look to sharp. Go by the mirror or photos the latter option being my preference. Then ask yourself are you happy with that.
