yep could end up spending a year over training the wrong things lol like some one I know AKA me lol
No probs. Training partners are a great help, but make sure you don't get a guy who talks a lot and knows everything, but has nothing to show for all of his 'knowledge'. You could find yourself in a blind leading the blind scenario if that happens and not make much progress as a result.

Hello mate,
I work in London just off "The Strand" but I live in South East London/Kent.
I'm going to start lifting heavy, and eating clean and more in general. I had a flick through the stronglifts routine which looks pretty good, my only concern is when i get to the gym (lunchtimes) the one squat rack they have is always being used, so i was hoping to put together a routine which involves dumbbells as i have got some heavy weights and a bench at home. i've asked for more weights at xmas as well. You think that will be ok? I'll keep going and review it after 12 weeks and see how it's going.
Thanks for your reply.
Rich.
Hey. I'm moving to Kent area in the new year Erith if your close to that area.
Is there any thing else you could use in place of the squart if it's being used like leg press or may be changing ur times. I know in my current gym it's a pain as there is only 1 rack so the 1st thing I have to do is ask for the person to give me a shout when there done. Or if there doin the same thing work on with them most people will say yes that's fine.

you could try and get yourself a olympic bar and do i think there called zercher squats where you sort of power lift it off the floor to your chest then front squat from there. Or another option you could look at are the one leg dumb bell squats takes a bit of work to get the balance right but can be beneficial.
