After two heavy years of drinking at university, I decided it was time to tone up a bit. I have been training hard for about 6 months, and improved my diet massively, (no more takeaways, brown rice and bread only, etc etc). I have managed to go from around 14 stone to 12 and a half. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me before, (I didn't really want any pictures of my body the way it was, which I regret now as I have nothing to compare against).
I am now thinking of bulking up a bit since I have toned up. If anyone can suggest anything else I could do it would be much appreciated! ANY CRITIQUES ABOUT PROGRESS SO FAR MASSIVELY APPRECIATED!

Maximi11ion cheers. Will try and get some pics up after a bit of bulking. When I started out my main aim was to lose my beer belly and try to get some abs showing. I'm quite happy I've managed to get rid of my belly pretty much! If there are any critiques or suggestions for future training that would be great!Photo on 24-12-2011 at 23.45.jpg
Can I ask what your diet and routine were, may help guide me a little, am doing lots of reading over xmas
@munch With my diet I mainly just cut out the 'crap.' Fizzy drinks especially for this!! The only time I would have one would be a diet coke while at nandos. I also tried to cut out carbs after 6pm, and if I did have them it would only be brown rice/pasta/bread. I tried to massively up my protein too by having some form of chicken, beef or fish with most meals. I would snack on myprotein cookies if I got hungry to keep my protein up and hunger down.
With my routine, this constantly changed. At first I tried chaos training (a different workout very week to shock my body) but I don't think this really worked for me, so I stuck to working out chest, triceps and legs on Monday's, backs biceps and shoulders on Wednesdays, and playing hockey matches on Saturdays. Some days I would also do a Spartacus workout (search for in men's health) which i think is a great way to burn fat as its essentially a big leg workout. After each workout I would also do some high intensity interval training, which I think is the best way to get rid of fat, but you need to persevere and get as many sets out as you can manage.
Regarding supps, I had myprotein's hurricaine xs protein shake. 3 therompures a day and bcaa's.
Hope this helps!
