Hi everyone, don't usual take photos but thought I may as well so I can compare against these in the future. Very sorry about the quality.

My goal is to lose fat around my stomach and then go on a lean bulk. I'm currently at 15.5% bf at 162lbs and 5ft10. I'd like to get to about 10%bf have a visible 6 pack for the summer then start a bulk after summer
    All comments welcome

    Hey mate, welcome!

Might just be your elbow blocking the view in the second image - but looks like some postural 'lordosis' going on there, which should clear up with fat loss from the belly but might be worth reading up on how to correct it - if you need any help or advice, im pretty solid on postural and mobility stuff so feel free to ask away in a new thread or something

Have you read or heard of whats known as 'leangains' or 'Intermittent Fasting' - with your bodycomp and goals I think it'd be perfect for your fat loss and you'd see a bit of lean muscle gain too. If not, dont worry, if you post up your current diet etc in a new thread, you'll get some great advice

Nice to see your also a Jeff Banks boxers guy haha. I thought I was the only one!
"Squatting on a Bosu ball makes it so much more challenging!" So does getting tapped in the balls while squatting, want me to do that too?

Hi thanks for the advice. I do tend to arch my back a bit and my gym instructor told me I need to strengthen my lower abs to help support my back if that's what you mean. Any help on my posture would be a bonus.

Yeh I've read up on the lean gains/IF diet and I might give that a go soon.

Haha yeh I love jeff banks boxers, there soooo comfy

I hated my mum for buying Jeff Banks and not Calvin Kleins when I was 15, but its 7 years later and im buying Jeff Banks myself haha.

Yeah as I mentioned, you want to lose fat so getting rid of stomach fat will definitely help with correcting that. Are you a desk worker?

Stretching wise, you'll probably have short hip flexors, hams and erectors. It'd also be beneficial to do some glute activation work (side lying clams, glute bridges etc) If you've got a slouch that can be sorted with stretching and mobility work.

The above and the purchase of a foam roller, should help massively

Funnily enough I much prefer jeff banks to Calvin Klein.

I'm not a desk worker but I do sit down a lot at work lol

Ok they have a foam roller at my gym which I use on the side of my legs, also what kind of stretches can I do for trying to correct my slouch?

    Thanks

Get that roller on everything dude - quads, hams, ITB, glutes, calves, lats and pecs

For the slouch foam rolling the pecs and lats, thoracic extensions on the roller, lots of thoracic spine mobility, and in terms of stretching - doorway pec stretches, lat stretches, hip flexors etc

Youtube any of the above and you'll find some good videos!
