best bet for back is bent over mid section exercises at almost paraleel to floor.
For years I was misguided to think lat pulldowns and chins will give wide back... No no no

Once I was informed that my back needed bringing up at a comp I place 4th in , years ago and was advised to do mid section movements,
    eg. bent row
    cable row
    DB row etc

These all form the first pasrt of my routine once per week back is trained and a forth exercise is normally a pulldown and finally deadlifts.. nothing works better for thickness...
Deadlifts change from 1st exercise to last on back day depending on goals.

    As for my stats
    17 1/2 stone off season , 16stone on stage
dont measure anything else but need to buy 34" trousers due to leg size although they hang off waist..
    Neck is 17 1/2 also..
    With Thanks

Nice work Neale! I want to hear more about the rib story. It sounds gross, yet strangely fascinating ...
