I thought Glucosamine Sulphate was supposed to provide more Glucosamine than Glucosamine HCL, but was usually more expensive (although they are about the same price on MP). Is this not the case ?

How long does one have to take Glucosamine HCL before the benefits are likely to be felt?

    Hi,

Reserach shows that Glucosamine HCL offers up to 40% more pure Glucosamine than the Sulphate option.

    Hi,

It’s impossible to say as everyone will react differently. However, generally 2-4 weeks is a good time scale to start feeling benefits.

Are there any hypoglycaemia issues with this product? I know there were with glucosamine sulphate in multi-gram doses.

I have seen a competitor product that uses glucosamine HCL, chondroiton sulphate, MSM, and high potency cissus, all together in the same formula. I have to say, that sounds pretty good as far as joint repair goes (also lots of other health benefits from those compounds). Is there a chance MP could produce something similar?

I'm confused about whether HCl or Sulphate is better, as there appear to be conflicting reports. Recently, I read that Sulphate is more bio-available.

I've also seen a competitor product which has purified Cissus and looks a lot different in colour to the powder it compares to which is the same as in the MP version
