id be very careful what you change with your prices, the price difference between yourselves and some of the competition is already not what it used to be, if you go up too much you simply will stop selling certain things, Hurricane Evo is a dead cert, as other major brands are very very similar in price, sometimes come in a bigger tub, and you get free postage from pretty much every online supp shop too, i know the difference on some other things though is quite a bit, good for us buyers

Ok the price increase must be somewhat significant, if this is the case depending how steep the increase is the chances are myself and many others will switch to competitor products as at the least they'll either be cheaper or provide a better stimulus to buy i.e nicer flavours.

Irrespective of raw ingredient prices, Ive been told many times MP in the early days was alot cheaper than what it is now and its slowing wanting more and more cash like some of the larger competitors, true or not as a long time customer of MP this is not good for me il actually be forced to compare products/ingredients againest competitors whereas before this annoucment I never did such a thing. Any ideas on difference of unflavoured whey?

P.S Il be surprised if the prices revert back to what they were once raw ingredients come down again, ?

    Before everyone cries too much...

MP prices for everything I buy haven't really changed in a year. (Trust me, I am sad enough to have a spreadsheet). So we are overdue some sort of price rise due to inflation, if nothing else.

There is also the issue of big drinks companies bulk buying whey, which is bound to push the price up.

I don't think anyone really has any cause for complaint, especially as we have been given warning. If you feel aggrieved though, exercise your capitalist privilege and buy elsewhere.

I'm never happy with price increases where ever they may be. But like Khris above, I've never shopped around as I've always been told and believed that MP are the cheapest around.
But reading Bruns response it seems that i'll be checking the prices of other suppliers.

Hmmm I wonder what levels we should expect. Suppose its to be expected, I've never seen a competitior come close to the volume/percentage of MP impact whey so until its significant I'll remain loyal (unless they screw me out of referral points again! tut tut)

Considering the shipping charge, I am able to get whey that equals, or maybe surpass Myprotein's quality for less.

Luckily I do all the shopping for my whey guzzling Polish buddies from my previous gym so shipping not usually a prob (good for points too )

Actually, putting 'multi-buying' into consideration, MP is the cheapest and will probably still be after what I would hope to be a small increase.
