    Bloc Party are a strange band.

    Many people love them and many people don't like them. I am part of the latter.

    Where you going watching them?

    I watched Kasabian at the MEN last year, that was a great gig.

    Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes, depending on my mood, I really don't want to listen to them.

    Going to see them at what was the GMEX, think it's called 'Manchester Central' or something now?!

    Kasabian, excellent band. I was also at the MEN gig last year!

    Saw Bloc Pary 2 years ago at the apollo in Manc. They were great but I don't much care for the new album so I wouldn't go unless I knew they were playing a mixture.

    Yeah, I'm not a massive fan of the new album. I'm sure they'll play a mixture though.

    Fantastic gig! I've seen about six bands this year, including Foo Fighters, Interpol, Editors, and the Bloc Party gig last night was by far the best. Just for pure energy levels!
