utorrent is easily the best, but they just got bought out by bitorrent(Erm, free software?) it's pretty much the same thing these days.
Mininova.org is the best public index site for torrents at the moment, torrentspy is shutting down now, bloody **** spamming site...
And if you're on a router(And can actually be *****) look up port forwarding, you tend to need it for better speeds sometimes on torrents.

Whats the difference between a torrent client and a p2p file sharing program such as limewire ?

Surely all films/music can be found on either or is there another reason for using torrent clients ?

    p2p is simply 1 file....

where as for example an album can be put into a torrent and it will be seperate tracks, same goes for films, and also I have found many many more films on torrent sites than any p2p..

I've been using limewire mainly for songs but would like to download movies, full albums etc.

Can someone give me a link to utorrent if that is the best??

thepiratebay.org is pretty much taking over from torrentspy, best of all 0 adverts. Mininova is is of course still the biggest, need to watch some of the trackers tho.
