Yeah, i'm probably one of the guys to be honest... (at the momment)

I think it's something to do with the people that know a lot tend to spend a lot of time thinking/theorising and not enough time training!
It's certainly been the case with me in recent years but i'm changing my ways and certainly my body is improving rapidly (helped greatly by a good knowledge)
There's also no reason why having knowledge should mean someone should be particularly good anyway, there's plenty of people with less impressive physiques that know little as well....

It's obviously not true for everyone however some guys here are pretty impressive and have good knowledge (which has obviously helped them achieve the physique)
I think it's easy to look at the guys who give great advice and look at their physique and question 'are they taking their own medicine?'

Being big doesnt make you smart, and being small doesnt make you dumb, there is no correlation.

lol yea... i mean, i know a fair amount (compared to the average gym goes anyway) but no where near the level that u know... I dont think my body ISNT very impressive either, i mean, when i staretd training, just at home with a bench barbell and a pair of DB's, i gained about a stone and a half, msotly muscle and back then my diet was terrible. And now, i've stepped up my training and also my diet is much better, but im stuck at a plateau and cant seem to get past 11 st 8

true, but you would imagine that those who have a lto of knowledge have been training for a while and gathered their array of knowledge during that time

Not really, decent knowledge will come a helluva lot faster than a naturally achieved impressive physique.
